This is my first time drawing the Vasile’s greatest rival Azrail Rozalia alongside one of my main characters Lumin Vasile. They’re having a bit of a dramatic dance together. Lumin is being a nosy trouble maker as usual and causing chaos.
Here we have a detailed character reference sheet for Celestyne Vasile. I wanted to explore the conmplexity of his clothing as well as play around with some expressions.

This pose was a challenge because I was having trouble figuring out how to use a pose that feels so distinctly like posing for a camera so I decided to get meta and actually draw the camera viewfinder shooting a commemorative photo at Vilanar Exhibition. The annual festival for showcasing the work of Vilanar’s best and brightest.
We see the man of the hour Burton Learmoth, headmaster of Vilanar University and his automaton Aleks, a constant companion and assistant to the busy vampire.
This is a young Walter Henrik who will eventually become a famed inventor and shipwright but in this snapshot in time he is a mere assistant enjoying an air festival in the capital of Arcine

The Initial concept art for the cloaks worn in chapter 01 Birth. Their embellishments are evocative of mountains and starlight, with a single sunburst on the back. Stellar bodies are Iconography associated with the Vasile family who’s family crest pulls from these elements.
